The kindness of the staff above all. The excellence of the rooms with very good beds. The breakfast-buffet gave us the opportunity to gain weight... in other words an excellent start of the day.

the location was particularly good and beautiful for me as it was just next door to all the restaurant theme nights, activities, the shopping centre and the outskirts of funchal.

My husband and I appreciated being there. the staff were very good and courteous people from Reception to the restaurants and bars and chambermaids. the location was marvellous and pleasant, very close to the Alfama Portuguese / Madeiran restaurant and Funchal which is very likeable and easily accessible.

Everything was second to none, so were absolutely stunning views over the beautiful gardens which are kept immaculate. Its location was central, a super close walk to an open air sea water pool. And it was also close to the center of town as well as the shopping complex. The room was brand-new and tastefully decorated! The service was very efficient, I had 7 very enjoyable nights here.

Fantastic hotel, close to the seaside, close to the city centre of Funchal a minutes away from Madeira mountains. Great location. Very comfortable, we had a very large room with small kitchen perfect for a famaly of three ir even four. Very clean. Several good restaurants. Despite being a large resort, you actually don't see that many people. Probably one of the best hotels in Madeira. Strongly recommended.

Just perfect for everything . Madeira is amazing and this hotel is a must If you want to try another restaurant (the ones inside are excellent), then go to Summertime, 300 yards from Porto Mare. Cheap, local and very friendly, while tasty Besides Porto Mare is fantastic with these pools where you always can find a quiet moment to swim, and all is smiling staff The massage at e spa is unforgettable We'l be back for sure

This place has a great location near Cais do Carvao and is walking distance to shopping centers and a small mall, with guest rooms featuring a patio and all necessary amenities.
